Hello,
I am looking for info on a diamond edger. The tag on the front left says
M3X. No other obvious tag. Maybe underneath but I did not think to look
there and I do not have access to it at the moment.
I did a Google search but could not find anything. I would like to ID
the manufacturer and likely year of manufacture. It looks like 1970's
vintage. I was a fabricating optician back then.
What I would really like to find is a users manual and/or a service
manual. It comes with no coolant pump or vacuum pump for the chuck so I
need some specs to dig up those items.
This is for edging kaleidoscope optics for fun. Mostly round but I might
do some polygons too. I would prefer a smaller machine with a manual
chuck, like an old AIT edger, but this is free so I'll take it for now.
I am also looking for a wet ceramic wheel for free or cheap. I am in the
DC, Baltimore, Annapolis area.
I have friends with small machine shops so repair or modification is
possible.

Hello,
I have been corrected. The edger is an Essilor MBX.
I am still seeking documention such as user and service manuals for the
machine.
