Perhaps someone who has already researched this topic for
themselves can help me out...  What are the pros & cons of Lasik
Surgery vs Eye Contacts?

Is Lasik a permanent improvement for eye vision, or can eyes
still degrade over time, perhaps requiring a whole new lasik
procedure, or an expensive follow-up?

Usually, nearsightedness increases for a while, then levels off, no matter
what you do.

Most refractive surgeons want you to be "level" for 2 years (increasing no
more than -0.50 D) before having surgery.

Contacts are a good way to predict the vision you'd expect from laser
surgery.
