does anyone knows how many injections of macugen are needed in order to cure
the AMD ?

We could not say it cures AMD, but it seems to help to stop it by blocking
the VEGF's action.

I'm not sure how effective Macugen is in slowing down the progression
of
wet armd, especially past the first year. It may along the same lines
of
effectiveness as PDT . But I haven't seen anything that Macugen will
actually stop armd.
