Just wondering what you guys prefer for computer displays.
I once saw this website that argued CRTs are easier on the eyes than
LCDs. I forgot what they meant by "easier on the eyes" ... maybe less
fatigue, less irritation ...
I forgot the reasoning ... shape of the pixels in regards to
resolution, brightness, contrast, dark blacks, etc?
In my own experience, LCDs seem easier to use for extended periods.
I've never tried those polarizing/glare reducing filters they sell for
CRTs ... They seem gimmicky to me.

I spend at least 8 hours/day at the computer and have never noticed any
particular fatigue or irritation, except when I read stuff that....never
mind.

Most CRTs have brightness/contrast controls -- you just have to make
sure there's no light behind you. I'm perfectly happy with my no-name
19" 1600x1200 CRT, but I'm shocked to find that my digital pix have more
detail in the shadows when viewed on others' monitors than when viewed
on my own, even on full brightness which seems otherwise comfortable.
