How long will eyeglass makers honor an eye exam prescription? It depends on the state you live in. In most states it is one year unless otherwise stated on the Rx. It may also differ if the Rx is for contacts. They would have no reason to lie about that. You can also contact your state regulatory board. Search the Sate of Missouri website for contact info. Most likely it is one year. Same applies to drug prescriptions. |
