Does anyone on this forum wear toric lenses? I'm considering getting
them. I am quite myopic and have astigmatism.

please ask specific questions.  I assume you mean toric contact lenses?
what information are you most interested in?

I am an eye doctor.  I will tell you that they work quite well.  They may
take a few visits to find the best fitting lens.  I would recommend soft
toric disposable contacts.  Good brands include SofLens 66 Toric, Biomedics
Toric, Vertex Toric.  A just released brand which might have promising
results but for which there isn't much clinical experience is Acuvue Advance
toric.  There are only limited options if you want color toric contacts.

What is your eyeglass prescription?

Thank you for your response.

I am slightly worried, as my right eye is a little lazy. If I squint,
can the contact lens get lost?

My prescription is right eye: - 4.75, - 2; left eye - 4.00, -1.50.

Your prescription would be great for toric lenses. As long as the fit of the
contacts is checked by the prescriber, you should be able to squint, blink,
and look around as much as you like without worrying about losing the lens.
If your optometrist (or whoever you are seeing) has recommended them for
you, go for it!

In addition to the very good lens types recommended by RM, there's also the
Purevision Toric (by Bausch & Lomb), a good choice if you want to wear the
lenses for long hours every day (or even overnight). It's only just been
released for general use here (Australia), so you'd need to check its
availability where you are.
