heynita2000 - 02 Mar 2005 22:18 GMT The Secret 'Black Globe' Palming Technique The real inner secret behind perfect eyesight is to relax the eyes, body, brain and mind completely! Complete relaxation means complete healing of body, mind and vision. To do this, you must be able to visualize totally black space while palming with your eyes closed. While palming, when you have pictured a background as black as it can be, imagine a "round" very black "Globe" pictured against that back-ground. What do you see? You will see something still blacker than that background. Then let go of the background and let the Black Globe spread out until it becomes the background itself. Try to picture a still blacker Globe on the new background and so on, until you get a background so black that nothing blacker can be imagined. Perfect blackness equals perfect relaxation, and perfect relaxation equals perfect vision. Ten to fifteen minutes of "seeing black" while palming will prove to you what a marvelous relaxation technique this is. Some people have reported eye strain relieved in only a few palming sessions. After "seeing black", you will be able to see much more clearly and strongly--either at the close point or far point. To see the fullest degree of "blackness", first look at a perfectly black object, i.e., black car, black cat/dog, black velvet etc., and then (while palming try to remember that blackness.
The Key to Seeing Perfect Blackness. Perfect blackness that is recalled and perceived, indicates that the mind is perfectly relaxed. When you cultivate the power to "remember and visualize black", your brain and mind rests and relaxes instantaneously, and your vision strengthenens tremendously. Your mastery in remembering to see black goes beyond relaxation. It enables you to see the letters 'much blacker' on a page, thus making them sharper and easier to read. Practice a few minutes each day and you will see marked improvement. Your subconscious memory of "perfect blackness", carried in your mind when your eyes are open, will give you a high degree of mental and visual clarity and strength. Thus, your vision can be improved immediately, if your memory and mental image of "perfect blackness" is visualized and retained. Bates and other natural eye training specialists state that many cases of imperfect eyesight--nearsightedness, farsightedness, aging vision--have been cured by the simple practice of "seeing black" while palming, over a period of time. got it here==== http://www.universal-tao.com/article/perfect.html

g.gatti@agora.it - 03 Mar 2005 17:48 GMT The girl is simply nuts, she has not got any understanding of what she is cutting and pasting, things that are wrong in the first place.
What I find disgusting is that the writer of the outrageous article puts Dr. Bates on the same level as "OTHER NATURAL EYE TRAINING SPECIALIST"...
Is there a worst crime?
In fact, the way the article is written is a clear indication that the writer himself has not understood anything of what he is writing.
Also, any reader will be simply baffled to read these things, and cannot understand how to materially proceed.
The only thing which had to be clearly specificated was DISCARD THE GLASSES PERMANENTLY.
Of course this was omitted.
And then the whole process depicted is simply uselsss and impossible.

retinula@hotmail.com - 04 Mar 2005 02:53 GMT have you noticed that nobody cares what you say?
g.gatti@agora.it - 04 Mar 2005 13:40 GMT << Comment from user: I would like to hear about people who've had success with natural vision therapy remedies. I had lasik. Jury is still out and I may have regretted it.
<< What do you mean by "jury"?
<< I wish I hadn't had the procedure done. I miss my own eyes, before Lasik. I could see and think clearer with them. Maybe the Bates method will be my only help.
Thanks.

Read through the archives of the group (http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/PerfectSight/) and fetch an original copy of the 1920 book on www.abebooks.com
Are you reading the sci.med.vision newsgroup on google?
<< Yes, that is where I came across your name... I just read a post where you asked someone what their vision problems were, and you would give them some exercises. I will pick up the original Bates book. I am not sleeping at all anymore, due to this worry.
I even had a premonition not to have the surgery. I didn't do my homework. The near vision is very difficult to see. One eye is worse distance and near than the other.
I do appreciate you writing to me. I will get that book this weekend.
<< When I read the rebuttles to your arguments, it seems futile to argue with people that don't believe in any natural method of healing. I am a believer of natural healing, that is why I'm mad at myself for taking the 'quick fix' approach - and all without understanding the procedure. I have a lot of work to do with getting my vision improved, and many prayers as well. Again, thank you.
<< Those people are criminals, you should sue them if you can support that.
But perhaps it is better to ignore them, for now, collect yourself for the true cure and then come back to smash them later.
I am going on in harassing them because it is my interest that people like you could get the chance to know better and try different.
Keep me posted regarding your progress. rgg

So you see intelligent people are also browsing this board, despite the stupid ignorance you show.

During the 70s, the Chinese tried palming techniques with entire school populations. Don't you wonder why they quit?

There are statistics published, as you ask with double blind, and almost 100% success. Look into the New York Medical Journal.
But you are too idiotic to accept that.
The problem is that these things work (but only the original Bates stuff, not the adulterated ones), and if these things work, you are out of the business. In fact, the very rare strange ailments give not volume to the practice and there is no business at all.
Regarding Palming, it works in a very minority of patients, the ones that heal quickly. To have Palming work in the majority of cases, you have to wait for some improvement with other methods. In my own research, Palming starts to work only after some sessions of sun-gazing or sun treatment.
But I do not believe the Chinese tried it.
Anyway, the gullible people are those who come to you seeking help and finding only glasses, dangerous drugs and uncarefulness.

g.gatti@agora.it - 06 Mar 2005 14:24 GMT The only thing that is settled is that you cannot offer other help than the ugly glasses.
You have no conception of Palming, Central Fixation, Imagination and Memory.
You have no conception of Limits of Vision, Sun Treatment, Fine Print Reading.
You have no conception of Shifting and Swinging the Central Fixation, Pain Control, Rest.
And you call yourself a doctor in ophthalmology?
Perhaps you may have some degree of some sort, and a great practice with your clients, but I am sorry to tell you that you understand nothing about how the eye and mind work.
The fact that few people know what I am talking about, does simply mean that these things are not popular because they work against the vested interest.

[quoted text clipped - 17 lines] > that these things are not popular because they work against the vested > interest. That's one possible explanation. Another is that you are a half-witted troll who seeks attention by disrupting serious discussion with inane banalites. I would consider advising you to use a magnifying glass next time you look at the sun (with the secret intention of having you burn and destroy your retinas and sparing this usenet group from any more of your babblings), but that would be dangerous and irresponsible.
Are you happy now? More attention for you.
