Hi,

I have previously worn Johnson 14-days Acuvue (-3.25) with BC ranging from
8.7 to 8.8. Now I switched to 1-Day Acuvue BC 8.5 and they are fine. My
optometrist told me that BC 9.0 is much more common and offered me those. I
tried them and they are also fine. Which ones should I choose (BC 8.5 or BC
9.0)?

I have 2 older prescriptions for Johnson lens with BC 8.7 to 8.8. I guess
the doctors write the value which matches the lens they are selling.

Maybe I should buy both 8.5 and 9.0, take them to the doctor if he can see
which one fits better. Or it doesn't really matter if they both seem fine
to me?

Thanks for help.

Your optometrist has offered YOU the choice? Unusual... normally the
optometetrist chooses the best BC for you by looking at how the lenses
fit on your eye.

Anyway, if they are both comfortable and you don't feel them moving on
the eye, and if the optometrist is happy with either (having checked
them both on your eye), then go with the 9.0.
