Tear Duct Plug All the Way In

Should I worry about a tear duct plug that is now all the way inside
the duct?
I was trying to keep it from falling out and accidentally pushed it too
far. Now it is not visible at all from the outside.
So far everything feels fine. There is no eye irritation, no
congestion, no discomfort. Is there any particular symptom I should be
looking for as a sign that a problem is starting? Should I rush to get
it taken out before it gets lodged somewhere or before an infection
starts? Or should I just relax and enjoy my moist eyes?
Thanks

Relax and enjoy your moist eyes.  There is seldom any reason to remove a
plug thats been pushed too far in.  It happens frequently.
