Now this is something.

A friend who was famous for his incredibly perfect sight was suffering
two months ago of a mild conjunctivitis in one eye.

She has a wife who is very nearsighted and had to renounce the use of
contacts due to this problem of congiuntivitis.

They went to a couple of ophthalmologit who had to admit that these
types of congiuntivitis are not amenable to treatment, and in a three
weeks usually go away by themselves.

What happened was that the conjunctivitis bekame keratitis in one
month's time.

They got alarmed because their eyes became red and swollen and
painful. my friend with perfect sight had to admit that his vision was
lowered.

After having tried some cortisonic collyr, they resolved to go to an
homeopath who prescribed several remedies for internal organs (I do
not know which remedies).

However, they recovered very slowly in another month's time.

Just few minutes ago I happened to phone my friend and ask him other
things, when we came to the subject of sight.

I asked him if he had a snellen chart at hand to make same tests.

He replied no.

So I sent to him by email my E-type Snellen Chart, and he could print
it and put at 4 meters distance, although in not so good light.

HE could read just the six/tenth vision line.

Then I asked him to remember how the last letter he could see was.

It was a P, which has a total of 10 angles on the outline.

After having learned how to count mentally the angles of a letter, he
became able, one line at a time, to go down to the last line,
ten/tenth of vision.

I asked him if he could remember the last letter of the last line,
which was a "o".

He said yes.

I asked him to check if the white disc at the center appeared a little
bit more white than the rest of the paper.

He said yes.

I asked him to check if this illusion he could replicate even with
closed eyes.

He said emphatically yes.

Then we tested the sight again and he was very shocked to see how it
was improved and returned to normal.

Now we have a doubt: if he had done these kind of treatments at the
inception of the conjunctivitis, could he possibly have avoided it?

He promised to test daily his level of mental rest by means of the
Snellen chart, trying also to get to "double the standard" vision,
that is, doubling the distance considered normal for the chart I have
sent him.

If he was treated by the stupid doctors that official medicine
provides, he could have been prescribed the eyeglasses, and started a
life of misery.

Who trusts these people anymore?

Wow.  this story sure convinces me!  This is like one of Otis' pilot
engineer stories.

With all these spontaneous cures occurring more and more all of the
time-- I'll bet ophthalmology and optometry will be transformed in just
a few years.  All we'll have to do is relax, gaze at the sun, and wear
plus lenses.  I'll be able to tell my grandchildren how I remember
Rishi and Otis and how they changed medicine on the internet!

Dear Friends,
Please note:  I do not support the statements made by "Rishi".
I think "Bates" was good to "object" to the minus lens -- as
do other optometrists and ophthalmologists -- as the
"second-opinion".
But I do not use the work "cure" or "therapy", only
prevent at the threshold.  Sorry you do not
understand that difference.
Best,
Otis
