I had a laser treatment for macular edema in February.
As warned, I have less peripheral vision, and I need much more light to
see clearly.
I have frequent tearing in the eye, and I now have trouble reading.
When I went to the surgeon for a checkup, I was quite surprised to find
that my vision in the eye operated on was still 20/16 - although I could
see small blurs on the edges of vision, where the burns were. My other
eye is still 20/26, with a blind spot where I had a large bleed burned 4
years ago.
My doctor said not to worry about the tears.
I may note that I have worn reading glasses (currently +200) since I was
in my early 50's, and have never worn any corrective lenses.
Anyone have any advice about the tearing?
