Are you sure it wasn't you with the yoga and the erm,.... odd noises?!!!
I'm a little ticked off tonight though. I've been a Stepford Wife today -
done my ironing, kept a promise to go to a football match this afternoon,
and succeeded in baking the PERFECT apple pie. For the first time ever, the
whole thing was right - just the right amount of sugar, the correct smidgeon
of cinnamon and nutmeg, the pastry was perfect and when I checked it in the
oven it was all golden and smelling delicious.
Then I lifted it out, caught my arm on the hot shelf, and dropped the pie
upside down on the damn floor!
John took one look at my fact and instantly came to clean it up for me.
The end to a perfect day, and the last time EVER I go to a football match.

(Yep, and I'm far too gentlemanly to reveal the name)

just be BARMY, I mean to say, who, right, WHO on earth would ruin a
beautiful fusion of fruit and pastry by chucking in even a smidge of
byourlady pencil shavings, eh, eh, it's pot pourri, that's what cakespice

Well you see Alan - my 3 like cinnamon, but I'm not keen, so I have had to
strive to find just the right amount that is tolerable for all of us. I
achieved that with this pie, and am not ashamed to admit that I know this
because I tasted it.......... yes, off the floor!
Still aching from standing on the terraces though.
