Okay, it's been a while. Let's start roll call and see how many people we can lure out of the bushes long enough to check in. When I stayed with a friend in Houston I asked if there was anywhere I could walk to - the look of sheer horror on her face had to be seen to be believed. "Honey, if you walk here, the police will almost certainly stop you". And it was the same in Phoenix.
