T'would be kinda neat to have this kind of thing on a
regular, say weekly, basis. Theres a guy posts stuff like
this on a Linux NG I read and it can be quite interesting to
see how things fluctuate sometimes.

Just my opinion of course.

I haven't got the time to post it once a week myself, but if you are
volunteering Mike? All you need to do is download your own copy of the
program here:
http://www.geocities.com/brettocallaghan/software/qdnstats.html
and save the stats as a txt file via your news reader.

Sounds interesting, but yet another thing to reinstall,
reconfigure, balls up experimenting with, and have to fix
again. Can you tell I'm an avid Linux dabbler? ;)

I'm assuming this application is *NIX ported?

I'll keep it in mind however. Maybe once I get my new home
network setup and I can leave stuff like this to a
cron-timed script or something on the house server/gateway.

That you would have to ask the author, but considering the program is
small runs with Agent just fine, I would think with the likes of wine
and other such Linux stuff [of which I know little about] you could
either run it on Linux or some Linux wizzard will pull an equally
capable linux prog out of a hat that does the same thing.

Yup. I'll take a look later. Cheers.
