Hi all, I had a terrible car crash yesterday. I was on a Motorway when a
lorry decided to pull in behind me - misjudged how fast I was going, clipped
my rear bumper and sent me spinning across 3 lanes until I hit a Rover and
the Crash Barrier. I'm ok - but am really shook up by it. I've been good
with my RA on Celecoxib but today, every ache and pain is back!! I also
keeo reliving every moment of the crash and to be honest, I'm lucky to be
alive!! I feel a bit down about it and I feel scared about driving to work
tomorrow!!

Sounds like you're a very lucky lady Sarah. Maybe practice with a short
drive in your neighbourhood first?

Glad you came out of it OK physically. See your GP and tell him/her
your fears, he may well issue a short sick note for stress which will
help you get back behind the wheel at your own pace. Do work know
about the accident?

I do not think you should be going to work tomorrow. It is too soon
after such a shock.
I hope you soon feel better again.

i felt down about a piece of stupid driving on the m11 on sunday,
where the other person _failed_ to cause me to crash. _and_ the aches
and pains had come back, even before i got home.
so poor old you: as everyone else has said, you've just *got* to take
some time off work. but whatever you choose to do, my thoughts will
be with you.

Thanks Everyone!! I've been to se my GP who has suggested that I take the
week off - but I'll see how I feel on Thursday! I've never been a nervous
driver and have always been happy on motorways etc - but this incident has
taken all that away from me!! Especially as I'll have to drive my husbands
car - mine's a Citroen Saxo his is a Vectra! Slight difference in size
there!!
Thanks to everyone though!!

I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been extremely frightening for
you. Glad you
weren't hurt.
