ROFL Andy - not just yet, please!  I can't bear the thought of having the
dark mornings back with us. When I can't sleep during the night now it is
lovely to get up, make a cup of tea and take it down the garden to the pond
to see if i can spot my friendly frogs!

I will settle for the 29th of October to come quickly lets get the
dark nights back and the dammed noisy kids indoors around here at a
decent time instead of shouting and bawling outside like they are at
this very moment .
I really enjoy the five months from end of October until the end of
March much much more quiet and peaceful than it is in blasted summer .

I actively dislike christmas - swambo wants to spend more money which
we don't have.

Christmas totally ruins the best five months of any year for me I
start to get depressed at the end of November and don't come out of
depression until the last day of January reason being I lost three
very good friends on successive Christmases between 2000 and 2003.
On the other hand I have never been very happy about the season of
good will since leaving school many years ago .

Bite your tongue, Andy...I work in retail and can't stand the build up. If
it weren't for the kids, my Christmases would be nothing but work. Sad,
really.

I'm in retail too Kelly, only this time of the year is like Christmas for
us - it is a camping and leisure store and it is packed out at the moment!

We do a little bit of everything. We're more like what your drug stores are
like. We sell a little clothing, auto supplies, camping, photo finishing,
beer and wine, canned goods, etc.

We have Independence Day coming up soon...huge holiday, of course.:o)

Do you sell those pretzels that look like dog biscuits?
kind of like a hoola hoop snack but with a filling in the middle.

I love those.

No, but if you know what they're called, or which company makes them, I
might be able to find some for you.
