If you're reading, I saw on the news that parts of north wales felt an
earthquake yesterday - aren't you in that neck of the woods?

Well, it's now Sunday and I'm *still* trying to think of a *clean* answer to
this.  I give up, and have resolved to seek professional help.  I blame the
company I keep.  Can't be my fault.......:o)

Yep, I believe they had an earthquake in Colwyn Bay.  Colwyn Bay: does the
name evoke a preety picture of a picturesque seaside community, fishing
boats, lovers walking along the sand, hand-in-hand, engrossed in the sweet
nature of their being, observed by the wise local folk who stand against the
rails and scan the horizon for bad weather and the return of the fishing
boats that carry their loved ones?

Cos if it does, you're way off.  It's a pighole, and its main virtue is that
it's a great deal less pigholish than my own Rhyl.  It's about half to
two-thirds the size of Rhyl, with added Taff and greatly reduced Scouse/Manc
overspill.  Still a dump, but one where you're less likely to trip over a
drunk.

Here's a thing: I didn't see it myself (and nor did I take any notice of the
'Slum Slur Outrage' headline on the front of my local rag), but apparently
ITV showed a drama last week called Big Dippers, which, I'm told, was a
story of small-town gangsters.  The producers apparently wanted to set the
drama in the most rank, depressing, foul, feculent ****kicking town they
could find.  You can work the rest out for yourselves.........

Happy days......

You leave Delia out of this.  She's a top bird.  ASK me, when I went to the
Everton away game, ASK me who was four seats away from me, in the cheap
seats..... and then try and imagine Dein or Abramovitch slumming it on the
bum-splinterers.  Top bird, our Deels.

Anyone care to join me in a chorus of "Delia's Barmy Army"?

Diiiiiiiiidn't think so.

OK, I believe you, but no more talk of that chelski guy, word is he
has contacts in the russian mafio, and I've seen a few of those

Is it anything like your version of "3 times malky malky malky?"

I saw the Joe Pasquale show on ITV on saturday night and when he did
that song about Trevor the guinea pig, well it brought back memories
of Alison and her piggies.

No, you're not singing it loud enough "COME ON LETSBY AVE"

As at the Man City end of the ground, the Gallagher bros, pen another
classic for the latest oasis album

"and so Gary [ Linekar] can w-ait, he knows it's to late - da da -
walking on by.....
......but don't look back in HUNGER it's Delia Smiff"

"I wanna start a revolution from the pitch - even though I chairman,
not some physco cooking bitch!"

Larf, I nearly bought a round - sorry Alan, you know as Kenny Everett
used to say "It's all done in the best possible taste"
