... it's 7:20 summer time and 6:20 winter time (or is that
GMT?) Anyway, been up all night with that mean old left leg
of mine. I seem to be having serious trouble with it every
couple of weeks now, which is bad. However, while I wait to
meet my consultant I have to think of ways to keep going -
my boss has put up with me missing 6 days in the last month,
and right now I can't see me making it on Monday unless
things improve over the next 24 hours.

So I have 2 choices, taking the pills prescribed a month ago
that had several weird side effects, but might help with the
pain. Or looking for "triggers" and avoiding them. If only I
could figure out what causes these flares ... surely they
can't just be random?

Anyway, these are nothing more than some random thoughts
from the middle of the night. I need to try lying down again
and getting a little sleep ... *yawn*

Hope you all enjoy your extra hour this morning :-))

I might have enjoyed it if some B****** had not let of those loud
fireworks at 2am. Unsettled me for the rest of the night, back and right
leg giving me gyp this morning.

That's annoying - isn't it against the law to do that now?
(not that it'll stop certain toerags..) Sadly we can
probably expect more of the same for the next couple of
weeks. Hope the pains ease off .... Jim

It's just another example of Parliament passing laws that basically
are un-enforceable.  Will we have a policeman in every street watching
for illegal firework detonators?  They only pass such laws in order
that the politicians can claim that  they are aware of the
electorate's wishes.  In fact the only thing most of them are
concerned with is fiddling their expenses and taking "back-handers".
Still, in the Sunday Times it said today that Tony Blair is planning a
"sanp election" in the spring of '05.  Goody goody, another chance to
express my electoral rights.  This time I vote Liberal.  Not that I'm
pissed off with politicains mind you!

I think they are trying to make it a law.
However I shall miss a lot of the racket since we will be going away for
our Golden Wedding bash on Thursday.
Half of suitcase already packed with meds for heart probs,  aches and
pains and diabetes plus a few thrown in for upset tums etc.

I wish I had some sage words of wisdom for you Jim, but I'm afraid I don't.
But I am sorry that you're having a hard time - wish I could have invited
you to dinner, but after what we've just eaten one of the things would be
bound to trigger you!  We had roast beef, yorkshire pud, roast pots and
parsnips, sprouts, carrots, beans, brocolli and mashed potato with swede!
Oh and red wine chucked in for good measure!

Take care, and I really hope you are feeling better soon.

Sorry to hear about this Jim. I've got hundreds of painkillers here I'd
love to send you, but daren't.
I'm tempted to tell you to keep a stiff upper lip, but then I remember
that clip from that Tony Hancock "flying" scene.
I really do hope you feel better soon.
