It's THAT hip again

Saw my physio on Thursday morning and she was really pleased with my
progress. But ........ my hip dislocated again on Thursday evening,
while sitting in my armchair talking on the phone. My hips were at a
good angle when I felt the "click", so I leant back in the chair and it
immediately clicked into place again. Phew!!

I seem to have spent the last 48 hrs trawling the internet, and it's
surprising how many people have similar stories to tell, some of them
pretty horrific - having to wear another bigger brace, possible wrong
sized socket fitted, another operation etc etc. I'm due at the hospital
on Wednesday for my post-op appointment but I already know the Main Man
is on his annual hols next week and I have no faith in his underlings at
all.

Thanks for your good wishes Andy

Sorry to hear of your hip problems, and as you say its usually a waste
of time going if your RD is not in attendance, they're not going to do
much about it without his advice, I shouldn't think.

Best of luck though, I hope all goes well with your hip.
