It is years since I did that - I used to love spending hours at the shops,
browsing, trying stuff on etc.

I'm off on my jollidays soon, and of course don't have a thing to wear.
Normally I am in a lot of pain about 10 minutes into Marks and Spencers, so
I was in a quandary.

Anyhow, I bit the bullet and used two crutches today, instead of my one
stick.  What an amazing difference - I managed a 3 hour session, with only
one stop for coffee.  Of course, John had to find me at regular intervals so
he could de-bag me (as in removing carrier bags!).

Had a wonderful time, and I think I may take the crutches on holiday with
me, as we had such a good time together!

That's the way to do it, Jayne. I used to find the crutches very handy
for pointing at things in supermarkets etc, and for putting carrier bags
on the hand supports. Thankfully I haven't had to use them for some
while, and I prefer shopping on my own anyway - unless I get promised a
coffee and a sticky bun of course lol
