I posted a message on the uk.rec.waterways newsgroup asking Connie if
she is still around to make contact on u.p.s.a group.  If she is there,
and reading the news items she will have read it.  It's up to her as to
whether or not she makes contact.
Can anyone tell me her married name and the name of her husband.  Rather
than publicly doing this e-mail me at:

I had a reply from the wrong Connie suggesting that if I could tell her
the name of the narrow boat that the missing Connie might be on, she
would circulate mailing lists she subscribes to all of which are devoted
to narrowbaots and canals.
Do we want to go this far?  It could be considered intrusive.
Especially if the person  concerned wants to stay out of sight.
If so please confirm that I have Connie's married name right as Davis.
And would anyone know the name of the boat?

I don't know the name sorry Peter.  I would think that if Connie was still
around on the internet she would have posted by now.  I know she was a very
busy lady, so perhaps life afloat proved to be enough for her without going
to the hassle of mobile internet?  I don't know, I'm only guessing, but I'd
have though she would have posted by now.
