Anyone know what the PRESENT high rate of the above component should
be I only ask is because I have just been on the DWP site and it
states the payment should be 45.00 pr week I am receiving 46.00 pr
week there seems to be some discrepancy here somewhere .

Looks like you've got an extra £1 per week Ron. It's odd that's it's over
the published rates, but probably not worth querying

the problem is that they may suddenly realise that they've made a
mistake, and demand that all the excess be returned.

they did this to my son (paying "living independent" income support
for a period when he was back in hospital).  paying that back took an
age, though they admittedly did allow him to pay it off in small
installments.

so _i_ would be inclined to query the level of your mobility payment,
and to retain any correspondence about it.

I shall give them a ring Robin and ask although I would sooner let
sleeping dogs lie especially those dogs at Norcross :))))) .
