Perhaps you have to try it yourself in order to hear it.  When napping
without betahistine, I find that once i wake up, the sound is much
louder.  Under the influence of betahistine, the sound remains the
same while the head pressure is off.  This medicine makes you sleep
tho.  My ENT doctor in HK prescribed to me several months ago and
asked me to take it two times a day.  I tried to get smart and took it
only one time after dinner.  I wish i had followed his advice 3 months
ago.  Now, my t has recovered quite significantly.  I simply use 20 mg
of Lasix in the morning and take that betahistine after dinner.  When
the day is realy bad, I move the pill up to after lunch.

I looked up on this betahistine.  This medicine improves micro-blood
circulation and releases the 'arterial wall pressure', whatever that
means.
