I have had what you are describing. It was a low pitched
grrrgrrrgrrrr..........grrgrrrgrrrr.......... type sound. I was told that I
had some build-up of wax deep in the ear. I know that ear wax can be
dissolved with mineral or olive oil. I took an eyedropper and filled my ear
with mineral oil. I plugged it up and went to sleep with some music on, to
try to mask some of the increased tinnitus from the mineral oil. In the
morning, I flushed out the oil with warm water, using a water blower that is
used to blow water in to the ears when cleaning them. I then repeated the
treatment the next night, and the next morning after. After 3 days of this,
the low pitched
rrrgrrrrgrrrr........rrrgrrrrgrrrgrrrr........rrgrrrgrrrrgrrr..........
sound went away.
I have no idea if there are any risks to what I did, but it works for me.
This treatment that I did is something I read in an article for this type of
thing. Any time I start to have this type of problem, I do what I described
above. I would suggest you ask your doctor before doing anything! Maybe
what I am doing would not be something that would be good for you.
