Hi all--
I came across this website and wondered if anyone had tried these CDs.
There's a special tinnitus 3-pack too.

I have a "Healing Waters" CD that I play when T--or any other annoying
sound--gets to me, so I probably won't buy anything from this site, but
maybe it'll be of interest to others

I have purchased several meditation and relaxation CD's, on the
recommendation of my audiologist, but find that the radio works best for me.

Same here, Patty.  It seems to me the simple act of playing a white noise CD
would draw my attention to my T.  On the other hand, turning the radio on
every morning and tuning it to MPR/NPR is instead a quest for news and
information with the beneficial side effect of masking and distracting from
T.  Here comes "car talk"!  Gotta run.

Interesting about using TV to distract from the T. On the other hand I have had
patients who developed headaches just from watching the 6 o'clock news and I
had to orderr them to switch to I love lucy.

Bill,

I have used a white noise CD and found it pleasant, allowing me to focus
away from my tinnitus.

viva la difference!

Dear Patty,
I wonder if you would mind doing this.
for sleep, do you do better with the radio maskng or watching TV to fall
asleep. I tell my patients to fall asleep with the TV but have never done a
"scientific" survey. Please let me know.
