I have had tinnitus for 4 years. Recently a doctor told me I have
kidney stones and should have Lithotripsy. This procedure is very
loud. I have been careful of loud noises. I will be able to use ear
protection. Do you know of anyone with tinnitus who has had
Lithotripsy.

I would be surprised if there weren't since so many people in a wide
range of health situations have tinnitus.

If you get headphones to wear, you might want to use foam earplugs,
too.

Do you have an idea what caused your tinnitus?

the sound volume for lithotripsy is quite loud and ear muffs are provided for
this reason, both for the patient as well as the operator.
