I think the US participants in ALT are truly lucky to be in the
vicinity of a number of _licensed_ US doctors in this ng. These
doctors have been listening to the description of T symptoms from T
suffers all over the world, from which they have derived a reservoir
of experience. Who else is better qualified?
Thus the new patients should at least check out with one of them first
before going for 'additional' support....IMO.

There is only one licensed ENT that posts to this ng, to my knowledge.

Hi Fy,
I have always believed that some of the most intelligent people on the
internet were participants of ast.
Unfortunatly, other people feel intimidated by this and then the "wars"
start.
Rather than being a support group it becomes a "fight for control" where
nobody wins.

I could not believe the characters that go to war are so UN-American.
I was once a student in the US and the American characters I ran into
were never so petty unless they were found among the rudimentary
levels in terms of social upbringing and education.
