I was prescribed this medicine and the medicine has a brand name of
BYMENIERE.  These tablets are made by the Japanese and thus I have no
clue what they are for because i can't read Japanese.

I do have found these tablets are capable of 'balancing' the head
pressure over the two sides of my head but when they are taken with
DUXARIL they tend to conflict with each other.  While Bymeniere seems
to release the pressure of the inner ear, Duxaril seems to increase
it.  In particular, I have personally found DUXARIL to have disrupted
my sleeping pattern.

Experience from anyone?

A couple of years I was doing a forward roll in the water of a swimming
pool.Immediately I was very dis-orientated about the directions and I felt
misserable.
Later I felt some dizziness even during my work. And this
didn't heal at all.
My family doctor prescribed me betahistine but it didn't work. I felt more
dizzy when I took this medicine.
This summer I went to Hong kong and see the another doctor and he gave me
some different pills like:
Bymeniere, Gravol, acetamol, tribion and fumdamin.
I took this pills for a while and i must say they work terrific. I felt
much better than before.

My question is: Can I get this pills also in Europe??
I asked the pharmacy in Holland but they didnt know these medicines.

Regards,

Bymeniere is the trade mark for betahistine.  If you could not obtain
these 'legally', you could use diuretics as a alternative.  However,
you should talk to a doctor about this before using.  I am using
Lasix.  I found hydrochloride-thiazide worsened my tinnitus in the
beginning.

I was on betahistine for a few months.  The good thing about
betahistine is that I could nap without too much punishing
repercussions.  You could buy betahistine in HK without doctor's
prescription.

Last month, my doctor moved me out of betahistine and put me in gingko
biloba(organic dried leaf).  Currently, I am taking the following:
(1)20 mg of Lasix in the morning
(2)350 mf of gingko after breakfast in the morning
(3)350 mg of gingko after dinner

It 'managed' the beast!!!

Thank you for your reply FP.
I hope that they have the medicine you mentioned, otherwise
I'll let my family (they live in HK) to send me some Bymeniere and some
Gravol and Tribion to me. They actually works !!!

If your prescription also works then you have to keep it!!

Good health!!

Edwin.

You could buy betahistine in Canada.  It is a prescription drug.  In
HK, you could buy them OTC.  While the patients in Canada are being
screwed by socialism, the US patients by right-wing monopolists.
