Both of them are here to help, but not hurt.  I just don't understand
why there is so much pettiness in these two ngs.  Do people ever learn
to grow up like adults?

As long as people engage in finding fault in others, they can conveniently
avoid looking at their own faults.

It's an age old hobby here in AST. It's been going on now for what...
4-5 years?

I don't know why Nagler keeps attacking Dr. Chung.  Makes no sense to
me.

It does NOT matter whether what has been happening is new or old.  The
important thing is people should not carry whatever grudges into their
coffins.

Those who walk with Christ have no need for coffins for they have
eternal life :-)

Um,..... I was joking, hence the smiley.

You should learn to lighten up a bit,.... it might help your tinnitus.

Another f.cking idiot. I am sure the no one in either of these two
boards wants to hear your namby-pamby dribble. I was bad enough that
you post on one board, but for OT posting on two you get a f.cking
a.shole award too.

Please feed me or shut up. (Or just post to

I would imagine our aim is to achieve coherent and useful discussion,
without crushing the life out of the ng.

Well said.

"I would imagine our aim is to achieve coherent and useful discussion,

He must be new if he buys that ; ) I'll be honest, I poke my head in
here every once in a while to see a couple wacky Doctors take pot
shots at each other. Throw their followers and detractors in and you
have a prime time show. Somebody needs to call 20/20 or the ilk,
yikes, I'd boot up the ol vcr to record that one. I'm no Netizen by
any means but I see these issues on this newsgroup: 1.) Crosspostings
- Strange and bizarre trolls got let in and for a while they were
entertaining but eventually even they got bored. 2.) Doctors don't
behave normally like the Doctors we have here. Soooooooo, these Docs
are not normal. Guys, your the center of attention and you know it.
It's a great show for many and for yourself. 3.) The big excuse for
misbehaving here: "Hey it's usenet ! What do you expect !". Woo, hoo
anarchy rulz. 4.) Everybody wants everybody to tell them that
everybody is wrong except them. Since that never happens the war(s)
continue. 5.) The extremes of this newsgroup have the potential to
"miss" potential support of someone in dire need. Sometimes this one
moment is everything, you never know for sure. Subtle more, eh ?

This newsgroup in no different than hundreds, evens thousands of other
newsgroups. Lots of them have the same kind of battles, same kind of
trolls and same kind of spammers. Look, if anybody wants to put
Support at the forefront here I'm in but it will have to take place
while we police ourselves. I volunteer to moderate disagreements or
something of the sort. Goofy idea, any takers ? If it dosn't work, hey
the freak show continues. Todays closing word: Support

There are no quacks here, if that is what you mean.  Some doctors may
appear to be a bit too dogmatic in their manner of speaking but that
is a stylish issue.
