I was told by my cardiologist to take at least 400 mg for the cardiovascular
system and them I read a report from another MD that suggested taking up to
800mg when taking any of the statin drugs - of which I do take one for high
cholesterol.  In spite of the higher level of magnesium, I "hear" no
difference in my tinnitus.  But I am also hypothyroid and have read that
tinnitus can be a result of that as well.  Then, also, my cardiologist
recommended that I take an aspirin a day and aspirin is another "agitator"
of tinnitus.  Am I lucky, or what!!!

An aspirin a day probably will not affect your tinnitus. It almost always
(maybe always) takes more than that.
