Just wondering if anyone has similar symptoms. I have had light ringing in
both ears for a couple years and have adjusted to it pretty well. The more
irritating sound starts in the late afternoon or early evening in the left
ear and sounds like a muffled motor running at a distance intermittenly. The
sound completely disappears when I shake my head from side to side and
reappears when I stop. I never wake up with the sound. Anyone have any
similar situation?

Hi Dwight,

For some of us, our tinnitus becomes louder as the day wears on because of
fatigue ( I think).

When we're well rested we will typically have a better ear day.
