This subject has probably been discussed here before, but I am wondering if
anybody has any suggestions. I find it difficult to fall asleep, I am not sure if
it is the tinnitus or me thinking about the tinnitus (although I think it is the
tinnitus). I usually have to take an over the counter sleep aid to fall asleep and
when I wake up in the middle of the night, I take 1/2 an Ambien so I can fall back
to sleep. I have a sound pillow that plays ocean music. This helps somewhat, but
I always hear the ringing in my ears while trying to fall asleep.

I would like to eliminate the use of pills to get a good nights sleep. Any suggestions?

Some  persons do better falling asleep with the TV on.
Important to have a regular sleep routine.
Perhaps a shower esp to the neck
Or a warm tub soak.
A good algebra book.
Try the breahtingexercises too.
