Of all the drugs I have used, ATIVAN and STemetil(ones given to me by
my doc) did produce a reasonably silent world.

Any others?

I have not found any drugs that work for quieting tinnitus.  A lot
would be on my list of drugs that aggravate it, however.

I am fortunate enough to be at the point where I accept the noise and
it doesn't bother me.   Once enough time has passed and you have
gotten the medical opinions you are able to get in an attempt to quiet
the beast, the next stage is usually acceptance which you will find
leads to more days with the overall perception of quiet.
