Is anyone currently using a Hearing aid and a tinnitus masker all in one
unit.  If so could you reply with Brand and Model and your experiences in
using this device.

Also if you don't have any idea on these types of devices if you have seen
any good information on the web could you let me know where to look.

I've seen several bits of information that mention these devices but no
mention of manufacturers etc.

I know everyone has different experiences and different loss and different T
but I would like some honest responses so I can try to make a informed
decision.

I am currently looking at hearing aids for my hearing loss and I also have
dealt with T for a long time.  At one of my appointments my audiologist
induced a sound which cancelled out my T and I almost felt human for a
minute.

Thanks in advance

If you go to www.cedarpost.com you will see a link to the Tinnitus Research and Information Center.  Their Library has information on a free product and in the Directory is a link to their Tinnitus-Balance CDs

The ones I am familiar with are the Starkey instruments (hearing aids and
maskers) and General Hearing Instruments Combination Units (hearing aids and
broadband signal generators).

If anyone knows of other units, let us know.
