Hey Rings, be fair. You will not find one post of mine where I've whined
about my tinnitus. I tried some of the stuff promoted here years ago and it
didn't help. With a few relatively simple (and free) techniques I've
habituated mine as have several others who try to help out here. It comes
down to this: I know what worked for me and I want to share that with
others. Over the years, a couple of friends have thanked me for my help and
that makes it all worthwhile. To a considerable extent I was helped by Jim,
Bruce, Jean, Susan, Stephen, Elly and others who's names I can't think of
right now.
Why anyone would want to rain on this parade, I'll never know. Sure, we
have had our moments, but we press on. The bottom line is this: There is
no cure. The vast majority of those who visit this group can, however,
learn to habituate their tinnitus and, having done so, get on with their
life.
