When my tinnitus began back in 1977, I tried accupuncture and it did
nothing for me. I also saw an ENT who did nothing for me - but you have to
see an ENT to assess what or why you have tinnitus.

Just remember one thing, never, ever, let an ENT put a suction device in
your ear to remove wax or for any other reason. I did and now my tinnitus
has become worse (louder) and with sound number six - 3 in each ear.

My tinnitus started with 1 low sound in the left ear. Through accidents of
noise exposure, 1 became 2 and 2 became 3 and 3 became 4 and 4 became 5 and
now my ENT made number 6.

Yes, it helped reduce the intensity and volume of my T while the needles
were inserted.  When the needles were removed the intensity and volume
of the T returned to its previous level.

I saw a local chiropractor who is also a state certified accupuncturist.
She is Dr. Amendola in Melbourne, FL.

My furture D-I-L   saw an accupuncturist for her tinnitus. At 22 years of
age she was really distracted with the ringing in her ears and quite
anxious. The accupuncture worked for her a about 6 months back and she
claims it has not reurned yet.
