I'm not a doctor but as far as I know tinnitis comes from ear damage due to
loud noises.

.............

You are correct.

But it can also come from a variety of other causes.

Merry X'mas to you, Stephen.

Yes, i believe there are many causes.  My friend doctor, who charges
me practically nothing to say the least, told me that my tinnitus was
created by the amount of anxiety/fear/worry a few months ago when my
blood pressure was going up and down like a yoyo.  It was 'created'
because the amount of FEAR upset the yin and yan energy balance
between the liver and the kidney.  And his job now is to restore it.
Fear/anxiety/stress/worry could damage our kidneys in a way not
visible to our naked eyes or not detectable by the scientific
instruments we have available.  But the ringing is the signal sent out
from the system to tell us something has gone wrong.

This is the 4th day i am drinking his prescribed herbs tea.  The
ringing seems to have come down a bit this evening.  I also took the
advice of a 'top-notched' ENT in this city.  He threw me out of his
office with a bottle of vitamin B1 after some expensive check-up
operation.  And i am taking over 100 mg of this vitamin B1 too.

Best wishes!

Joe,

Perhaps you could ask Ear Ring in this ng to introduce you to *that*
acupuncturist that has well looked after someone he knows.  It is
worth a try.  Why not?

An acupuncturist has shrunk a timor-looking growth on the face of my
friend in Vancouver. But of course not any acupuncturist could do
that.

The accupuncturist works and lives in Hamilton Ontario, learned his trade in
the Chinese army and practices in another city nearby once per week.
He is not a registered practicioner and as far as I know has no licences in
Canada.
