Hi group:
My wife advised me that she has seen, a couple of times on local TV,
advertisments for a new (at least new to us) non-prescription medicine
for the treatment of tinnitus. The produce is called something like
"Lipofliboid."
I assume that my wife has the spelling incorrect because I am unable
to find anything on the Internet under this name.
Are you familar with these advertisments in your area of the country?
What is the correct trade name of this product? Do you have any
experience using this product?
Please share your comments under this subject thread.

I saw the same commercial. I think it is called "lipoflavanoid". The
commercial said to ask your pharmacist about it, then it showed an elderly
lady making a phone call.

Hi Al- I think you are referring to lipoflavonoid. This has been used a bit as
a placebo in cases of vestibular disorders, as far as I know. There's no
evidence it can help tinnitus.
