hurtful to me.

Now when people not worthy of admiration and respect do that kind of
thing, it is easy to ignore.  Your words, on the other hand, carry
considerable weight in my book.

You are a person who has overcome a great deal of adversity, and you
continue to carry a burden on a daily basis - a burden that few really
understand well.  You carry that burden with grace and dignity.

So you, William, are a person I do greatly respect.  And your posts
and participation here are valuable.

I sincerely apologize to you for my response to your post.  I am
disappointed in myself, and I wish you nothing but the best of all
good things.
