Mine does. Just shrieks if I tighten my jaw or clench my teeth. So,
naturally it changes loudness when I chew.
Sometimes it pulses with my heartbeat. Some other people that I know with T
have the same symptoms, some don't.
I wonder what this means? Anyone else have these symptoms?

If I tighten my jaw muscles I hear a louder ringing in my ears.
So does everybody who doesn't have tinnitus. It really doesn't have
much to do with tinnitus at all.

It means there is a muscular connection to tinnitus that has not been
recognised yet.

Patient Robert,
Maybe you can play us all a tune.

I have similar symptoms in that my tinnitus varies with the tension of
my neck muscles. If I clench teeth it gets louder. After 3 MRI's we
have finally concluded that a blood vessels is pressing against a
nerve in my right ear. ENT has no idea what to do about it. I am
working with a chiropractor and a dentist at the moment to see if we
can't realign the muscles of the jaw.

Interesting enough, mine decreases.

It's strange with me.
It gets much louder when I yawn, or move my head around in an unusual
way. And yes it does seem to get louder when I clench my jaw, but I
have to try really hard.

May stimulate you auditory nerves and compete against the perceived sounds,
masking them out.

Fyfpoon reports similar changes in T when he wraps his lips about his
bong and crack pipe.
