New tinnitus patients have been found to be cured when they had their
illness attended to as soon as it is discovered.

Excuse me, but this is not true.

Could be in some cases tinnitus only lasts a day or two, but how many
people are going to have their ears ringing for only a day or two
documented? So in those few instances where people had it attended to
immediately, who can say for sure if it was cured, or if it went away
on its own? My T stopped the day after it started, and came back the
day after that. I probably waited at least 5 days before I saw a
doctor about it, because it's not like I figured I was dying or
anything. I waited a few days to see how persistent it would be.
That's what most people do regarding what doesn't seem to be a life
threatening symptom isn't it? They wait a few days to see if a symptom
goes away - which it usually does. By the time I had given my ear
ringing symptom what I considered sufficient time to be considered
worth seeing a doctor about, it was probably too late for any sort of
early intervention, if any exists. I would've been considerably more
difficult for me to learn to live with my tinnitus, if I had been told
something like, "If only you had come in for treatment within 24/48/72
hours, then we could have cured it completely and permanently..."
YIKES. These days it wouldn't make a bit of difference being told
something like that, but not back when it first started and I was in
my initial desperate panic phase.

Well said.
I can hear the case report now. (A person heard a very loud noise and right
after, had a loud ringing in their ears.  They immediately rushed to a
doctor and obtained treatment.  The next day the ringing began to diminish
and a week latter they were almost back to normal. )
Wow, what a miracle cure.  (hogwash).

It is true for *some* patients.  Can you document that it is not true
for *all* patients all over the globe?  I personally know several
patients whose T has been CURED and these people had their treatment
within 2 weeks since it was discovered, 2 by acupuncture and 3 by
intravenous injection; one of these two had hyperbaric oxygen tank
treatment to do with the injection.
