You'll have to google for the reasoning in this, I am not gonna retype right
now and have explained it multiple times in this forum, but I consider the
aural safety of such contraptions to be suspect. Just my opinion ...

I'm glad I was able to adopt the age old tried and true, Learn To Live
With It, method. In my opinion, temporary relief can lead to
dependency. Forever suffering because you're forever seeking a fix.
