Hi,
My TV set is going and it's time to buy a new one. Not only do some TV sets
sound like my tinnitus, but they can set it off and it will keep going for a
while even after I leave the room. I just stayed at a hotel room last night
and that TV set really set off my tinnitus. Someone in this newsgroup said
it was the 15.625 kHz line refresh rate. Sounds like plausible explanation
to me.
I assume that flat pannel displays do not have this issue, but they are
really expensive. When I go to the TV store, it's a little hard to tell
which TVs are better than others, because they always have many different
models running. Will a newer conventional TV set be better for my T, or do
I need to buy a flat screen (plasma) tv?

I try to avoid TV sets and even my PC, you may find relief by trying
to neutralize the electrical field with a diode from energpolarit dot
com. There are probably other companies that make things like this.
It's almost impossible to escape electrical energy fields, house
wiring has 60 hz fields and who knows what else.
