I used to avoid napping as napping exacerbated my T.  Now I am not
afraid of it any more and I nap whenever I feel like it.  I think
napping may be good for the nerve recovery and it gives the body a
pause, making it more efficient.  At the same time, I think drinking
filtered brewed coffee, which will not raise my cholestrol level, has
done a lot to help overcome whatever discomfort i feel after waking up.

I always wake up from short naps with really loud ringing in my ears.
That doesn't happen if I sleep all night.  I still nap because I have to
sometimes.

Have a cup of brewed coffee after napping.  It may happen.  Slowly get
used to napping.
