Anyone knows?  TKS

I would say no because calcium and magnesium (which are found in water
from natural sources) are necessary for making beer, and distilling
would remove those minerals from the water. That's probably why many
premium beers boast that they're made with natural spring water.

Many advertise mountain spring water etc. even though they are made
locally where there are no mountains.

Yeah, I've wondered about that.  With all the regulations on alcohol and
on advertising, you'd think they would not be allowed to say that unless
it was true.

We have a beer that started in BC canada...Kokanee, that advertises
spring water and implies from mountain springs that are plentiful in
BC in the Rockies. That label is made a Labatts in London, Ontario.
Now I know they use the same recipe thus the same name but I doubt
they bring in mountain spring water 3000 miles and it would never be
allowed due to the bacteria content and lack of purity testing anyway.

The adverts sure make you thrirsty though.
