This is my first posting. Are any of you suffering from
ringing, buzzing, hissing and the various thousand and one other noises
plus insomnia, hypercusis, and hypothyroidism? If, so,I would love to
exchange ideas ,theories, and current diagnosis with anyone that is
willing to sit down and take their frustrations out on the keyboard.
Oh,How many of you on this great big internet are experiencing head
pain, and fullness in your ears? Looking forward to an insightful
exchange and possibly reduce our joint health problems. hopefully, bob

I had all of that years ago associated with chronic neurological
infection by tick borne diseases. A lot of perimenopausal women develop
tinnitus in the process, and I experienced a return (antibiotics had
made mine disappear for the most part) during an adrenal crisis this
past year.
There are hormonal and infectious causes of T that should be
investigated, because these can be curable or at least successfully treated.

14+ years of Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, & hearing loss (not hard of hearing
..........yet, but more than likely will be). Too much loud music as a teen.
All slowly getting worse. And making my life very, very difficult. The
Hyperacusis got really, really bad Christmas of 2004. I can't do much
without hearing protection. If I could just get back to riding in a car
without earplugs AND ear muffs would be a miracle.
For work I have to drive a car for about 4 hours a day, slow speeds mostly
so that helps a lot.
Very insecure, no confidence. Friends can see this, even srangers can. The
psychological effects of this are devastating. I've become antisocial. Do
not associate with friends anymore and I've just disappeared. Looking as if
I'll never meet a girl and get married. Heck I can't even take a shower
without earplugs how am I supposed to meet anyone?
Yea, it's been a bad week, year,......years.

Have you been 'habituating'? There are many habituation experts here
who will support you.
I went though a living hell like you and unfortunately was unable to
'habituate'. Now, things are OK and life back to being normal.
