The statement that "there is no cure for tinnitus" is an incomplete
statement. It leaves out something important at the end, and the
statement, when completed, should be "there is no cure for tinnitus
for *some*, but not *all* tinnitus patients."
This statement about cure for tinnitus, in an incompleted form, and
supported by results of 'controlled' studies, has misled a lot of
people and done much destruction to the newbies who visit this ng.
Ever since my tinnitus started about 3 years ago, I have come across a
few persons whose tinnitus has been 'cured' and cured in terms of
enjoying complete silence in the ear. These t patients, however, did
have one thing in common; they went for treatments as soon as their T
started!
2 persons were treated by intravenous injection of blood vessel
dilating medicine, one did not take any med but was advised by his
doctor to perform simple exercises in order to pump more blood into
the head during its onset, one by acupuncture. All of them reported
complete silence in the ear after the treatment or a 'cure'!
I personally tried 'you name it' all....additive drugs, intravenous
injection and taking of blood vessel dilating medicine, oxygen
chamber, ginko, and acupuncture. At this moment, the decibel in my
ear is about 10-15% of its highest pitch, and the noise comes only
intermettently. This is not a cure but a treatment well done. But I
am not going to stop here. I would try treatments again if I am
convinced a doc is able to do it for me. I am very sorry that I came
to this group a few years ago and was misled by quasi-scientific
reports, and by people who are 'experts' but experts who lack in
common sense. As a result, I delayed my treatments.
I strongly suggest all newbies should attend their new found T
immediately rather than to wait around in this ng and learn to
'habituate'. You can habituate and seek for treatment at the same
time. Why not? But the last thing you do is to give up.
You give up now and you give up forever!
ATTEND TO YOUR T WHILE IT IS STILL NEW...

Closed mind got you again?
Learn to thread properly, moron.

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who prays for a "cure" that only a few
receive. You give me my cure and maybe I won't be pissed when someone says
that I'm too stupid to find it. There is no such thing as proper threading
on an open group brain-dead. Or did you appoint yourself moderator?

Besides, what good is threading to two top-posters anyway?

Signature
A: Dunno, maybe it's because they're stupid.
Q: Why do some people top-post?
A: Because they are REALLY STUPID!
Q: Why do some people cross-post?

Bottom posting is the style that ruins threads and makes them
confused.
Look what just happened below. Your header is attached and next to
your stupid, moronic post, desoite you not wanting to look moronic, it
is clear you posted it.
Try to say the same for bottom posting.
Oh yeah, Try to stay on topic, if your little mind can comprehend it.

Perhaps there is NO cure for you and you are amongst *some* whose
tinnitus cannot be cured. This, i am afraid, is reality and you just
have to accept it. You would not have got pissed off if you had read
the post properly. The post of mine says clearly there is no cure of
tinnitus for *some* patients but you are trying to make a fool of
yourself by generalizing what you think I said. You do understand
Western European decoding this time but unfortunately your education
has not enabled you to understand the intellectual context of the
post.
Rather than calling your interlocutor a dumb-nut, you might as well go
back to Affirmative Action classes to upgrade yourself intellectually
and at the same time learn some etiquette which your forefathers were
incapable of teaching you!
Now, kid, move on....
There is no such thing as proper threading

As I said "You're a moron" with a negative attitude. You will never
find a cure and will suffer forever. You desire it.
