In case you have not tried acupuncture, go for a couple of treatment
with a certified acupuncturist.  Nothing works for everyone but if it
works for you it will be a tremendous bonus.  I am the evidence that
it cut down my tinnitus significantly.

Never mind what the 'controlled' studies have to say.  It was the
suggestion from these quasi-scientific 'controlled' studies that
delayed my treatment at a time when I should have needed it the most.

Just try it for 2 visits and see if it 'bingoes' for you...

Agreed! The "controlled studies" are done by people not wanting you to
seek ather therapies.

Do you really think they would publish negative stats about their own
trade and ilk?

A 'controlled' study is, nevertheless, a kind of study and like any
other method of study has its limitations.  And because of its
limitations, the results of any controlled study should not be used as
an authoritative indicator whether a treatment will or will not work
for anyone who wants to try.  Unfortunately, owing to the low level of
intellectual education given to the workers in the medical profession,
this form of study has been abused and worshipped as holding out for
'gospel truth'.
