I caught a cold this past December that went straight to my ears. I
have been controlling my tinnitus for years, but after this, the
situation is much worse.
Any ideas?

If its eustachian tube blockage, unblocking the tube can help. Check out
Clear.ease at www.hydromedonline.com (my product of proteolytic enzymes) and
ask your doctor if he recommends that for you.

Does the unblocking of this tube require a surgery?

Usually not.

Drink some ginger soup or go to a SiChuen Chinese or Indian restaurant
for some spicy food in order to unblock the tube in your ear. Going
for an operation is the last thing you want to do because you catch
cold more than once in your life time.
