my sister, who is an RN, suggested i try this for my tinnitus
which i have suffered with for over 4 years
the literature that came with it said it has to be taken
for at least 3-6 months in order to get relief/ if possible
has anyone had any success with this treatment???

Not that I recall in my years of reading and posting here, but that
doesn't mean it won't help you.
I think it might depend upon what the mechanism triggering your tinnitus is.

I've only just started taking Lipo-Flavonoids (I'm on day 2, no
changes yet). I've been suffering from tinnitus for about 8 months,
I'm not sure how long it will take before I notice any change, that is
